The glass frame is not just an instrument which fixes glasses in front of the eyes. The glass fame not only affects the sight, but also affects people¡¯s appearance.
 
(1) Material of frames

 metal material: karat gold, rhodium ,palladium, silver , nickel , chromium , ruthenium , titanium , aluminium , copper , silver , stainless steel, and so on.

 shell material: They are few and expensive. They have colors like red , crimson , golden yellow , sub yellow , and gloomy color.

 plastic and synthetic material: Plastic and synthetic material is polymeric compound. They are solid and not easy to transmute, such as acetate fiber , celluloid , fake elephant's tusk , organic glass , Araldite , nylon etc.

(2) There are many kinds of glass frames. According to the material, they can be classified as hawksbill frame, plastic frame, metal frame and metal plastic blended frame.

 hawksbill frame: They are very few now.

 plastic frame: they are usually made by celluloid, which are easy to get burnt. They are classified as thin type, average type and thick type frame glasses.

 metal frame: metal frame glasses usually have nose supports and plastic cover on the feet.

 Wensha frame: cover the metal with plastic.

 nylon frame: implant tiny nylon line into the glass.

 blended frame: mix metal with plastic.

 frameless glasses: staple the nose support and glass feet directly on the glasses.
